Privacy Policy

Stirrup is a buyer-side screening tool for horse listings, operated by Nono.today (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. The short version: we don’t ask you to create an account, we don’t track you across other apps or websites, and we don’t sell your data.

Information we collect

No account, no personal profile. You can use Stirrup without signing up, giving an email, or providing your name. To keep your scans and credit balance on your device, we generate a random anonymous identifier. It is not linked to your real-world identity.

Listings you scan. When you submit a horse listing (a URL or its text), we process that listing to produce a red-flag report. We store your reports so you can view your recent scans.

Purchases. When you buy credits, the payment is handled by Apple (in-app purchase on iOS) or Stripe (on the web). We receive a confirmation that a purchase succeeded and the credits to grant — we never see or store your full card number.

Basic technical logs. Like most online services, our servers record standard request information (such as IP address and timestamps) to operate the service, prevent abuse, and debug problems.

What we do not do

We do not show ads, we do not use third-party advertising or tracking SDKs, and we do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites. Our iOS app’s privacy manifest declares no tracking and no collected data types tied to your identity.

How listings are analyzed

To generate a report, listing content is sent to our AI processing provider (Anthropic). This data is used only to produce your report and is not used to train their models. The report is a screening aid, not veterinary advice.

Data sharing

We share data only with the service providers that make Stirrup work — our hosting and database providers, our AI provider (Anthropic), and our payment processors (Apple, Stripe). We do not sell your data. We may disclose information if required by law.

Data retention & your choices

We keep your scans so you can revisit them. You can ask us to delete your data, including your reports and anonymous identifier, by emailing us at the address below. Because the identifier is stored on your device, removing the app and clearing its data also breaks the link to your scan history.

Children

Stirrup is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy as the product evolves. We’ll revise the “last updated” date above when we do.
